Interview w/Glendon Gross Trumpet ~ Tucson Music Scene

Today I interview Glendon Gross, a favorite in the Tucson Music Scene. Glen plays both jazz and classical trumpet. He performs every Sunday at the Phil Davis Jazz Session hosted at Brother John’s Beer Bourbon & BBQ – sponsored by the Tucson Jazz Society.

He also performs with various groups around Tucson and has traveled to many interesting places as a jazz artist.

On this Sunday, as part of my series of interviews with local Tucson musicians, Glen and I take a moment from the Sunday jazz jam session to talk about music, world peace, the journey Glen has taken to get to this point and what is still to come.

Check out Glen’s social media sites:

  1. Glen sounds so enthusiastic! Always good to hear how inspiring teachers are to their students. Wonder if he ever thought he’d be traveling internationally as a jazz musician when he started playing trumpet in 5th grade.
